These terms and conditions of use apply to all users of Deaf Aotearoa Website.  By viewing and using the website you will be deemed to agree to these terms of use without qualification.  If you do not agree to be bound by these terms then you should stop accessing and using the website.

Deaf Aotearoa endeavours to ensure that the information provided on this website is accurate, current and given in good faith.  However, users of this website are advised that;

  • No member of Deaf Aotearoa shall be responsible or liable for any error in, or omission from, the information provided on this website.
  • No member of Deaf Aotearoa can accept responsibility for how recipients utilise information contained on this website.

Deaf Aotearoa would like to be able to inform our customers of our latest news and offers.

All prices quoted on this site are, unless otherwise stated, in New Zealand dollars and include GST.  Freight charges will be advertised at time of transaction, and are dependent on the destination.  Prices are subject to change without notice at the discretion of Deaf Aotearoa.  Deaf Aotearoa guarantees its stipulated prices except in such situations as typographical/printing error or errors caused by unauthorised third party amendments to this site.

All website transactions are processed through “DPS” secure payment gateway and no credit card details are ever stored on Deaf Aotearoa servers.

The total cost of your order will be directly charged to your nominated credit card whether upon completion of the online payment screen or upon receipt of your phone order.

Depending on availability of stock, all orders are shipped within 24 hours.  If there is a delay, this will be communicated to you as soon as is possible.

Please ensure you have supplied us with the correct delivery address as we cannot be responsible for delivery to an incorrect address.  In such instances where an incorrect delivery address has been supplied, the customer shall be responsible for the cost to resend the item.

Deaf Aotearoa reserve the right to withhold delivery in the instance that we believe (at our sole discretion) payment may be dishonoured (due to credit card/internet fraud or the like), at any time where we suspect a default or fraud.

Refund Policy
Refunds will be given at the discretion of Deaf Aotearoa. Deaf Aotearoa is not obliged to provide a refund if you have changed your mind about a particular purchase, so please choose carefully.
In the case of faulty or damaged goods, we will clearly meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act to provide a speedy remedy. This would usually mean that we will replace the damaged or faulty goods at no extra cost and, in some circumstances, we may refund the purchase price of the product but not the shipping charges.
Important note:
•         Refunds & exchanges will only be made for goods that are in a resalable condition.
•         Please ensure that the goods are returned in their original packaging.
•         We will not refund for DVDs purchased.
•         An exchange can only take place if we have the item in stock.
